| 鳳甲美術館目前館藏作品有近二千五百多件，收藏類別大致分為五大部份：第一部份是現當代藝術收藏，收藏作品包含台灣老中青三代、歐洲當代、日本前輩及中國當代藝術家的創作精品…等。第二部份水墨、書法作品為本館館藏之大宗，包括中國近代及當代、渡海來台及台灣當代水墨書法名家作品…等。第三部份是集精絕技藝與巧思的中國刺繡藝術，實屬中國珍貴的刺繡珍品，堪稱國內難得一見的精彩收藏。第四部份的立體雕塑，包括了木雕、銅塑、多媒材…等國內外名家的立體作品，尤其“現代雕塑之父”的羅丹作品，更是館藏精品之一。第五部份的台灣文獻畫則是針對國內美術館及博物館較忽略的部份所規劃收藏。所謂“台灣文獻畫”簡言之即指政府渡海來台之前的台灣書畫，此部份在台灣美術史上時常被輕忽遺漏，希望能藉由本館的典藏與宣導，帶動國內藝術愛好人士對台灣文獻畫的研究與積極重視。
The collection currently holds over 2,500 works of
art divided into five sections. The first section
contains oil paintings, water colors, drawings and mixed
media art by young, mid-career and mature Taiwanese
artists and mature Japanese artists, along with
contemporary art from Europe and Mainland China. The
second section makes up the majority of the Museum's
collection and contains ink paintings and calligraphy,
which includes works of modern and contemporary Chinese
artists, artists who immigrated to Taiwan from the
Mainland, and contemporary Taiwanese artists. The third
section contains a rare collection of Chinese embroidery
seldom seen in Taiwan which is considered priceless both
here and in Mainland China. The fourth section contains
sculpture by well-known domestic and international
artists, including wood, bronze and multimedia. The
fifth section contains Taiwanese documentary paintings
that have been traditionally overlooked by domestic
museum and art gallery collections. The Museum also
plans on inviting experts and scholars to study and
systematize its collection of documentary painting and
fix its position within the history of Taiwanese art. |
